This Colorado wildflower photo depicts an a groove of aspen trees and fern plants the blanked the ground. These ferns are at peak during the fall, rather than the summer. The are a very large plant and change from green to a yellow and orange hue during autumn. These ferns really give the area a great view of natural vegetation and color that makes the intimate scene really pop. This area is found along the McClure Pass in Colorado.
