Denver’s historic landmark, Union Station viewed from the north side of the building. These train tracks are no longer remain, as the building is now undergoing a major renovation. Union Station serves as a relic of the past, Denver’s first train station that was constructed back in 1868. It served the Denver Pacific Railway which connected Denver to the main transcontinental line in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The building features Romaneque style architecture and is one of the true gems found in downtown Denver.
