The Twisted Juniper

An intimate view of Garden of the Gods park seen from a nearby ridge. This particular vantage point has the hogback formations perfectly framed by foliage from a juniper tree. The shape of the tree wildly coincides to the exact shape of the rock formations. The roots growing out from the tree give this image a feel of time gone by. Listen to me babble; this is my favorite location in the park. Best photographed during sunrise when just when the light illuminates the scene.
