Views From the Mile High

This is a very exciting day. One that has been several months in the making. I am pleased to announce the launch of the Santomarco Photography blog! I created this blog as a way to share my photography to the general public that didn’t have access to photo-sharing sites like Flickr and the like. My goal with the blog is to upload 1-2 images per week and to provide  readers with photography tips and tutorials. Interested in creating photos like this? Here is how I did it. See, I am already giving away my secrets. Intrigued yet?

Photographer, artist or curious onlooker, there is something here for everyone to enjoy! If you like what you have seen thus far, please bookmark the site and tell your friends. And if you haven’t already, become a Fan of Santomarco Photography on Facebook. That would sure be swell of you!

Thank you all for starting this journey with me.

Did I mention I am afraid of heights? That doesn’t bode well if you are shooting off the top of a roof without an overhang. I think the best skyline view of Denver is from this particular angle, viewing the city from the southeast. This spot allowed me to capture the skyline, the iconic Denver “Cash Register” skyscraper, and the setting sun behind the Rockies. What more could a guy ask for?
